Experience The Selfish Market, Non-Traditional Wellness

It was a ‘Feeling Myself’ vibe.

It was a space where indulgence was encouraged, expression with no filter (within reason) was endorsed, and being selfish was a good thing. The Selfish Market, a pop-up event, that came out of no where and supposedly left without a trace.

Nestled in a local venue on the west side of Toronto, was this one-day inclusive and non-traditional event. Like many other summer markets, it had its vendors. Journals, soaps, candles, bags, jewelry, food, cute and dainty things – the works. Then it had some things that you may not have expected – a tattoo artist with on-the-spot flash tattoos, personal trainer challenges, a reader of different things from palms to astrology, and a esthetician who was giving away facials. From free to expensive, there was consideration for different sized wallets.

At this point, most organizers of summer markets stopped here. But this pop-up group came back to 2025 and branched off into workshops.

The Selfish Market continues to create #goodvibesonly cozy communities by popping up in different places across the beloved city. With a lot of people in attendance for its first run, the team shared that the workshops will be leading up to the return of the Selfish Market.
